You are buying a personal-use digital file, not professional inspection or repair services. Store your completed binder securely. Contact us promptly if the file is not delivered, is damaged, or the order is incorrect.
Seller and contact
Digital products are published by Home Routine Guide. Customer-support questions may be sent to info@homeroutineguide.com. Do not send payment credentials, passwords, alarm codes, or completed binder pages containing sensitive household information.
Product and price
The product name, included file, price, currency, and any discount are shown at checkout. The New Homeowner Starter Binder is currently sold as a one-time digital purchase. A purchase does not create a subscription unless the checkout clearly states otherwise.
Checkout, payment, and delivery
Checkout, payment processing, transaction records, and digital delivery are currently operated through Kit Commerce and its payment providers. After a successful purchase, the customer should receive access to the purchased file through the checkout confirmation and/or a transactional email sent to the email address used for the order.
The customer is responsible for providing an accurate email address, checking spam or filtered folders, downloading the file, and storing a backup. Delivery timing can be affected by payment review, email filtering, service availability, or incorrect customer information.
Personal-use license
Unless a product page expressly grants different rights, a purchase provides one customer with a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, print, and use the product for that customer’s own household and personal home-management purposes.
You may print replacement or working copies for your own household. You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, upload to a shared public drive, publish, post, give away, remove ownership notices from, or use the product as a template for a competing product or commercial service.
Household information and secure storage
Completed binder pages may contain sensitive information such as utility controls, emergency contacts, equipment details, warranty information, insurance notes, service history, or contractor information. Keep completed paper and digital copies in a secure location. Share them only with people who genuinely need access.
Educational and organizational limits
The products provide general educational and organizational material. They do not inspect a property, diagnose defects, establish code compliance, provide engineering or legal conclusions, replace manufacturer instructions, or substitute for emergency services, utilities, insurers, inspectors, licensed trades, or other qualified professionals.
Property conditions, equipment, climate, contracts, insurance coverage, and legal requirements vary. Customers are responsible for deciding which pages and tasks apply to their situation and for obtaining appropriate professional advice.
Refunds and delivery problems
Because digital files can be accessed immediately, a change-of-mind refund is not promised after delivery or download. However, customers should contact us within 14 days of purchase when there is a duplicate charge, incorrect product, failed delivery, corrupted or unusable file, or a material difference between the delivered file and the product description.
Eligible requests will be reviewed using the order information and circumstances. Available remedies may include delivery assistance, a replacement file, correction of the order, or a full refund. Kit currently supports full rather than partial refunds for Kit product purchases. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
Updates and compatibility
Products are supplied in the file format identified at checkout, commonly PDF. Customers are responsible for using compatible software and printers. Future revisions, bonus files, editable versions, or new editions are not included unless the product page expressly says they are.
Availability and changes
Home Routine Guide may correct descriptions, update files, change prices, discontinue products, or limit promotions prospectively. Changes will not alter a completed order’s agreed price. If an error materially affects an order, we may contact the customer and offer an appropriate correction or refund.
Prohibited conduct
Customers may not use the checkout or products for fraud, unauthorized payment activity, infringement, unlawful distribution, security abuse, or attempts to interfere with the site, Kit, Stripe, or other service providers.
Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Home Routine Guide is not responsible for property damage, injury, loss of records, missed maintenance, contractor performance, code violations, insurance outcomes, or other decisions made from general educational or organizational material. Non-waivable legal rights and remedies remain unaffected.

For a delivery or purchase issue, email info@homeroutineguide.com with the product name, purchase date, and buyer email address. Do not include a full card number or other payment credentials.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated for future purchases as products, providers, or business practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
